During my time at a Chinese art high school, I developed a strong interest in the linework of traditional Chinese gongbi painting. I spent extended periods studying and copying works by artists such as He Jiaying and Xu Mo, refining my use of lines through discussions with classmates and teachers. These drawings include a series of ink-style portraits based on my peers, as well as some color experiments using oil pastels.
