This is a series of oil portraits I began in high school, starting with classmates who were part of my everyday life. Their faces, gestures, and quiet moments became subjects I returned to again and again, not just to capture likeness, but to explore presence. Alongside these are portraits based on actors from film, or entirely imagined figures — experiments in expression, mood, and character. Together, they reflect a personal archive of observation and invention.
